Road & Bridge Updates in our Township
- Golden Pheasant Bridge is open: Truck traffic continues. The Township and Police State and local are working to curb large truck traffic from using our township as a short-cut. Stop sign and stop lights provided by PennDot are being discussed as a solution to minimize accidents at the bridge. - Beaver Run Road Bridge: (Bucks County Bridge 365) over Beaver Creek Rehabilitation. Due to the poor condition of the substructure, Bucks County has proposed rehabilitating the single span concrete encased steel I-beam bridge. For more info about this review process, please visit www.dep.pa.gov.
- Headquarters Road Bridge: Bridge over Tinicum Creek at Sheephole Road is CLOSED. A Headquarters Bridge update will be provided at each Board of Supervisors meeting. Click here to view the current minutes.
- Creamery Road Tohickon Creek Bridge: Located on border with Bedminster Twp. A rehabilitation project by PennDOT is in the planning stages. A virtual meeting was held on 5/28/24. - Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll Supported Bridge: The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is preparing to rehabilitate its nearly 93 year old Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll Supported Bridge in 2025. Comment period is open until July 12. Final Design to be complete in the Fall 2024. Project Bid/Contract Award, Late Fall 2024. Construction to take place from 2025 – Fall 2025. - Report potholes on PennDOT roads: Call 1-800-FIXROAD or online at PennDOT’s customer care center. Unsure if a road is PennDOT or Township owned? – check our list.
- Traffic conditions on major PA highways: Log on to www.511pa.com or call 511. This link will show current projects. During the winter, plow-truck locations and details of when state-maintained roads were last plowed can also be found there.
