Road & Bridge Updates in our Township

  • Golden Pheasant Bridge is open: Reduction in Truck traffic continues. The Township and Police State and local are working to curb large truck traffic from using our township as a short-cut. Options are being reviewed by PennDOT with possibly stop signs to minimize accidents at the bridge. A Golden Pheasant Bridge update will be provided at Board of Supervisors meeting.   • Beaver Run Road Bridge: Construction from February- June 2025. (Bucks County Bridge 365) over Beaver Creek Rehabilitation. Due to the poor condition of the substructure, Bucks County has proposed rehabilitating the single span concrete encased steel I-beam bridge.   • Headquarters Road Bridge: Construction begins 2025. Bridge over Tinicum Creek at Sheephole Road & HQRD is CLOSED. A Headquarters Bridge updates are provided at Board of Supervisors meeting. Click here to view the current minutes. 


  • Creamery Road Tohickon Creek Bridge: Construction scheduled for 10/2026. Located on border with Bedminster Twp. A rehabilitation project by PennDOT is in the planning stages.   • Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll Supported Bridge: The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is currently working on the nearly 93 year old Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll Supported Bridge from February – November 2025. Project is funded by the Toll collection funds. www.drjtbc.org/project/frenchtownbridge
  • Report potholes or STATE Road Concerns/PennDOT roads: Call 1-800-FIXROAD or online at PennDOT’s customer care center. Unsure if a road is PennDOT or Township owned? – check our list.
  • Traffic conditions on major PA highways: Log on to www.511pa.com or call 511. This link will show current projects. During the winter, plow-truck locations and details of when state-maintained roads were last plowed can also be found there.
