Zoning Hearing Board

The Zoning Hearing Board is quasi-judicial and consists of 3 volunteer residents and 1 alternate appointed to 3-year terms. The Board hears zoning variance requests, special exceptions and appeals to Zoning Officer determinations and renders decisions as permitted by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and the local Zoning Ordinance.

Second and Fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. when Hearings are required. One meeting in November. Check Township Calendar for updates/changes/etc.

Meeting dates subject to change or cancellation. All meetings are held at the Tinicum Township Municipal Building located at 163 Municipal Road, Pipersville, PA 18947, unless otherwise noted. Check the Home Page for updates. Some meetings may be held remotely. All meetings are open to the public.

All committee members must be current residents of Tinicum Township. Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. If you are interested in volunteering for a committee, please complete the application and send email to mbottelier@tinicumbucks.org or mail to the above address.
