The BNTGMC was created as a joint venture to provide a reliable, safe and adequate water supply to its residents through scientific studies, regulatory review, and educational programs. March 9-15, 2025 is National Groundwater Awareness Week.
This is an annual observance, established in 1999, to highlight the responsible development, management, and use of groundwater. This event is also a platform to encourage yearly water well testing and well maintenance, and the promotion of policies impacting groundwater quality and supply. The BNTGMC is actively working with Nockamixon, Bridgeton, and Tinicum Townships to protect our groundwater resources. Please visit the website:

Local Groundwater Stewardship Presentation: From April 2024
In April 2024, the BNT Groundwater Management Committee and ECOBucks.org presented a two-part seminar on water quality testing, a groundwater withdrawal ordinance, and township private well monitoring activities.
