Watershed-Friendly Native Plant Kit Sale

Order now, plant later!  Support the health of our Bucks County ecosystem by choosing native PA plants.  Purchase by June 18th; pick up in September at the Bucks County Extension office.

Interested in reducing stormwater runoff, lowering water pollution, conserving water, and supporting wildlife and pollinators?

To help nurture more watershed-friendly properties, the Penn State Master Watershed Stewards are offering the 2024 Watershed-Friendly Native Plant Kit Sale through June 18.  These kits are designed to help you incorporate more native plants into your environment to support habitat creation, stormwater management, pollutant reduction, and other positive ecological services.

Plant plugs are smaller than what is typically found in retail nurseries, allowing for easier transportation and planting, even within existing vegetation. The plugs have healthy root systems which will establish this fall so plants can flourish during the next growing season.

Select your preferred kit from the web page by June 18th, and pick up in September at the Bucks County Extension office in Newtown, just in time for fall planting.

Proceeds from the 2024 Watershed-Friendly Native Plant Kit Sale support the educational outreach and restoration work of the Penn State Master Watershed Steward program of Bucks County.
