Pavement Repair, Resurfacing to Close Sections of Route 32 (River Road) in Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pavement repair and resurfacing operations will close sections of Route 32 (River Road) in New Hope, Yardley boroughs, and Plumstead, Solebury, Upper Makefield, Lowe Makefield twps., Bucks County, beginning on Monday, June 23.
Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, through late July, at one more of the following locations:
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road. Motorists will be directed to use Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Lurgan Road and Stoneybrook Road. Motorists will be directed to use Lurgan Road, Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), Pineville Road, and Stoneybrook Road.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Taylorsville Road and Route 532 (General Washington Memorial Boulevard). Motorists will be directed to use Taylorsville Road.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Lurgan Road and Aquetong Road. Motorists will be directed to use Lurgan Road, Street Road, Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), and Aquetong Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
